Tai Chi Easy(tm) Dissemination Project Information for Instructor Candidates

This information is intended for graduates of the IIQTC 200-hour Teacher Training who are interested in participating in the Tai Chi Easy Dissemination Project in the specific role of Instructor.

The intention behind this project is to empower people to lead Tai Chi Easy practice sessions all over the country. The model is that qualified IIQTC graduates of the 200-hour Teacher Training Program developed by Dr. Roger Jahnke train others to become Tai Chi Easy community practice leaders. Yes, this means qualified graduates would be teaching the 25-hour Tai Chi Easy Practice Leader curriculum and certifying others to lead official Tai Chi Easy practice sessions! To begin, the IIQTC is working with the Healer Within Foundation to launch this project as a non-profit initiative to serve under-served communities. It is a “grass roots” project that will move forward with the right combination of people, timing and conditions. IIQTC graduates who want to do this have a genuine interest to serve others, a target audience, community relationships/contacts and are prepared to submit a proposal to key people in their community to organize and lead a Tai Chi Easy Practice Leader  training that is completely backed up and recognized by the IIQTC and partially funded by the Healer Within Foundation. The target is to launch 10 trainings (or more) like this  in 2011.
